@reachsummitpod @NatLANKborne Just start implementing buyout clauses in NIL contracts like is becoming common in football. If a high-major wants to pay our guy 500k they gotta give us 25k or 50k, then we have money to find another one. Problem is, Greyson probably wasn’t on NIL at und this year

@SeanPaulCBB Any clue if mid-majors sign these guys to NIL contracts with a buyout. We’ve started to see it happen more in football. I doubt Greyson would’ve been on any NIL this year but a guy like treysen was. That way if he transfers to go get $1 mil+ they at least pay UND 50k or something

24-25, Treysen Eaglestaff develops, leaves for WVU
25-26, finds Uelman, leaves after the year.

Don’t blame Greyson Uelman at all, go get paid. But it’s damn near impossible to build something at a mid-major school nowadays without money to retain this type of talent. It sucks. You find a diamond in the rough and you know they’re gone in a year.
