Lakers owner Jeanie Buss reportedly began to turn against LeBron James in recent years, per ESPN’s Baxter Holmes. Buss complained about what “she felt was James' outsized ego and the overt control that he and Klutch Sports exerted over the organization at times.” Buss also felt that LeBron was not “grateful” as he should have been when the Lakers drafted Bronny James in the 2024 NBA draft.
