@prophetwrestlin I think what went wrong is that universe mode was still not perfect in 2k25. instead of improving it, they add stuff on top of it being not coded properly. I hope they fix it through patches

@EDDYFAZO smh...universe mode was on the right track in 2k25 and it seems like they took 10 steps backwards. it's so obvious that it's a coding issure and didn't test the game properly

The island mode is redundant and a waste of time. The only reason I played it was for the achievements and I consider it a scam. This mode should be removed from the franchise as it is not widely used or enjoyed imo

Like I’ve opened at least 80 ish packs and 90% of them didn’t even contain a Legends Card or even duplicates like realistically that ain’t right, you’d expect dupes.

it's a bloated code on top of bloated code. In my opinion, they shouldn't be adding too many new things to the game. It's either going to take up to more than 10 patches or a new game to fix these issues. some issues can't be fixed through patches.

better even though I didn't play universe mode. 2k25 was where I started to play universe mode a lot even though the game still has issues. they need to code the game better. we all played these games for years and can start to see what's causing the issue. Like you just said

I realized this a couple years ago myself. It’s bloated code on top of bloated code and it’s stuff hidden and pushed off to the side. It severely does need a drastic overhaul.
