We don’t ask nightclubs to serve orange squash to kids so they can have something to drink. We say no kids in nightclubs.
Social media is exactly the same.
Social media is not a safe for children. Extreme content is rife, and the safeguards the companies have put in place are complex and woefully ineffective.
It’s time to make sure children are protected from adult spaces. The Government should focus on what matters, not banning companies they don’t like.

Labour MPs had a chance to force Reeves to do the right thing: fess up and apologise for misleading the public over her Budget for Benefits Street.
Instead they backed her, because she gave them what they wanted: more welfare, funded by higher taxes. She needs to go.

Rachel Reeves repeatedly lied to British public. We just forced a vote calling on her to apologise, and Labour MPs voted against. Reform, Lib Dems, Greens and the SNP backed up Labour by refusing to vote. Only the Conservatives are on the side of the British people.

🚨This is a bombshell moment. A must-read report from the grid operator forecasts rushing to Net Zero as Ed Miliband is doing makes our energy system £350 billion more expensive than going slower. That’s equivalent to 0.4% of GDP every single year from now to 2050 or £500 per household. Britain cannot afford to spend the next 25 years having uncompetitive electricity prices. We would continue to deindustrialise, miss out on the economic growth of AI, and see living standards suffer. And for a green agenda that wants to electrify everything, it’s also completely counterproductive to make our electricity more expensive. For growth and for living standards our absolute priority has to be to MAKE ELECTRICITY CHEAP!

@KemiBadenoch Ex prison officer here. It’s happened because the Tories destroyed the prison system. Prisons are massively understaffed & underfunded. The staff turnover is high. People not up to standard given jobs as prison officers. This is all down to your government Kemi.

We need to radically rewire our economy and getting taxes down is central to that mission.
BUT we will only be able to achieve that if we have fiscal responsibility at the heart of everything we do.
NEVER AGAIN will we sacrifice that.
Labour are badly mismanaging our economy. Reform offer only fantasy economics.
It falls to the Conservative Party to stand up for fiscal discipline and economic stability.
The road ahead is tough but we are up for the challenge. We believe in our country and we will deliver the right choices based on serious, responsible leadership.
