Shoots women for removing hijabs?
Last month, I visited seven Iranian cities. In each one - and as confirmed by the videos I published - I saw hundreds of women walking the streets without a hijab and no one bothered them.

Blockading Iranian ports is an act of war and thus a violation of the ceasefire.
Striking a commercial vessel and taking its crew hostage is an even greater violation.
Iran knows how to neutralize restrictions, how to defend its interests, and how to resist bullying.

@Iroiroya_j @WokeratiMarty By 'seriously socialist' I mean assuming capitalism is going to collapse and basing current actions on that assumption. Socialism that isn't serious assumes we can strike a deal with the devil indefinitely and be satisfied with just pressing for higher wages and taxing the rich.

As a party, I'd say maybe in the early 20ct, and the early post-war Attlee years?
But there are strong socialist traditions & a high level of identification

@Ahmed_Ould_s @nadimhoury We should give more credit to the United States for the situation. The US has been the dominant force in the region for many decades. It knows that is beginning to change, and as a result it is panicking. Israel is vital to US hegemony. Both are equally fascist.

At least the Wehrmacht didn't destroy buildings, homes, hospitals, schools, crops, places of worship, historical monuments, and other vital sites under the pretext that they would serve as hiding places, arms depots, or infrastructure for the resistance. Certainly, by stubbornly siding with the American-German Axis powers, Western states are now taking the side of what they fought against in 1940. What a stunning reversal of values!
