#Sanremowomen Update on @KNiewiadoma.
Kasia was assessed by our team doctor and sustained multiple cuts and bruises. We will continue to monitor her recovery closely. We wish Kasia, along with everyone else involved in today’s crashes, a smooth and speedy recovery. 🙌

In 2002, I climbed Mt. Washington and set a record that changed my life.
7.6 miles. 4,500 feet. 12% grade. Time: 49:24.
I was 23. A former MTBer from East Lyme, CT.
That day I beat Tyler Hamilton’s record, he set right after he finished 4th at the Tour de France.
It launched everything. My first pro contract with Saturn. A call from Lance. And eventually, my first WorldTour contract with Fasso Bortolo.
A lot has happened in the 24 years since.
My career was launched and lost. The identity that came and went with it. Cancer. A partial amputation. Lost fitness. Years of not knowing who I was without the bike.
I’m not sure I can do this. That’s the truth.
Sub-49 on Mt. Washington has never been done.
There are so many reasons I’m not the guy for it.
I’m 48. Dad of 5. Partial amputee. Business owner. Coming back from 11 years away from hard training.
But the audaciousness behind the attempt is the whole point.
And this time I have something I didn’t have in 2002. My own TTM Performance Model.
Now as a coach I’m putting my money where my mouth is.
My TTM doesn’t sugarcoat anything. It lays out the gap between where I am today and where I need to go in stark detail from to power, zone duration, durability, weight, mental strength, technique. Every facet and milestone, each point on the progression is mapped out.
My hope is that it takes me somewhere I stopped believing was possible. For me, that place is becoming a world class climber.
See you August 15, 2026. 🌙

I’m in Canada and I wanted Canada to win however I am very proud to see the American men’s team touring the White House and being proud of their victory and their country. These lunatics that have to turn our sporting events, that are our entertainment into political nightmares and chaos is beyond my comprehension of why they do it. You are turning so many of us away from watching any sport because they have turned it into a political circus. Thank you to the men’s American hockey team for not letting the media and other losers influence your decision to support your historic win and your patriotism to the country that you are from

@ShawnRyan762 Then just say who it is. Wtf? Nobody likes passive aggressive bullshit.

Who might this be?
Rep. Ro Khanna@RepRoKhanna
I saw this email at DOJ today. This is a political figure who shouldn't have been redacted. It’s a direct violation of @RepThomasMassie and my Epstein Files Transparency Act. @TheJusticeDept should unredact it immediately. justice.gov/epstein/files/…

The Atlanta Braves financial statements are publicly available and serve as a general guide for understanding the business of baseball. Any good accountant can move some decimals here and there, but these are a good starting ground.
The Braves made $46M in profit last year on $600M in baseball revenue and currently have $150M cash reserves. They're making huge profits (only 15% expenses) from The Battery, a reminder that the business of baseball spans beyond the concourse.
This shows that, yes, teams like the Braves (or your favorite franchise in the top 1/2 of baseball revenues) could probably spend more. This also shows that they could not spend anywhere near the levels of LAD, who are projected to spend $300M more this year than the Braves on payroll and taxes alone.
Peep TV revenue for the Braves - incredibly strong at nearly $165M during baseball season in 2025. It's still hundreds of millions short of what LAD brings in. That's why you're starting to hear about Rob Manfred wanting to consolidate MLB's media rights. The idea that 29 other owners are just broke boys who are choosing not to spend like the Dodgers is a logical fallacy. They are not capable of sustaining losses of 8-9 figures each year. We've seen it fail time and time again in this sport. You can handle losses in the short-term, but it's not a long-term ownership strategy.
With all due respect to 3YearLetterman, I'm convinced that people who think everyone should spend like this are the same ones who are financing their waterbeds.

My little pack of rescued babies 🐾 ❤️ 🐕 Luna Fortuna Black Ops Perimeter Check was still in her mamas belly when they were flown off a reservation to save them from being drowned 😭 Bolt was beaten and bounced around from shelter to shelter so by the time we rescued him he just sat in the corner and shook for the first month 😭 Miss Leila was rescued by one of my dear friends after a life of abuse and abandonment and she is so brave and learning all about love and what doggo life should be like 😭 I absolutely adore every single one of them and I am so blessed to have them feel safe with me ❤️
Also if I ever meet the people who hurt these precious souls I’m 1000% going to jail…with a big smile on my face 🥰🥰🥰

Incredible discipline in Rwanda. Huge crowds but nobody steps on the road, don't think you'd see this in many places. 👍

@RonRogersNC @lucasaganronald Lol, not really.

Ok Lance Armstrong just broke his lifetime cycling ban.
Sort of.
George Hincapie launched a new pro team this week.
The Wedu logo is prominently displayed on the kit.
Same company Armstrong co-founded. Same money. Different name on the license.
Cycling Twitter is melting down.
“How dare he come back.” “Once a doper, always banned.” “Armstrong is using Hincapie as a front.”
Maybe they’re right about the money trail.
But they’re wrong about George.
I’ve interviewed dozens from that generation on my podcast. Tyler Hamilton. Christian Vande Velde. George himself.
Everyone forgets these weren’t criminal masterminds.
They were 23-year-old kids handed syringes by team doctors.
“It’s vitamins,” the doctors said. “Everyone does it,” the managers whispered. “You want to make the team, right?”
The system was designed to corrupt them.
Yet when USADA came calling, only the riders paid the price.
Team doctors? Still working in professional sports.
Managers who created the culture? Running new teams.
Lawyers who enabled the cover-up? Still practicing law.
The riders who actually took the drugs? Exiled for life.
George Hincapie was Armstrong’s most loyal domestique for 7 Tours. He followed orders. He made terrible choices.
He also sacrificed his own career chances for 7 years to make someone else successful.
That’s not the profile of a selfish cheater. That’s someone who understood loyalty - even when it destroyed him.
Now he’s 51. Been out of cycling for over a decade. Lost his prime earning years. Reputation in ruins.
And he still wants to give back to the sport that cast him out.
Creating opportunities for young American riders. Building the pipeline we desperately need. Using his own money and connections to grow cycling.
We’re telling him he’s not welcome.
The same cycling community that celebrates comeback stories from crashes, illness, and addiction draws the line at someone who made mistakes as a young athlete.
That’s not justice. That’s permanent punishment for temporary failures.
George knows what happens when winning becomes everything. When pressure overrides principles. When team culture goes toxic.
Maybe that’s exactly what the next generation needs - someone who’s lived through the consequences and learned from them.
Armstrong may be funding this. Fine. Judge that separately.
But George Hincapie deserves a chance to rebuild - not just his reputation, but American cycling itself.
The sport that destroyed him doesn’t deserve his loyalty.
But he’s offering it anyway.
That tells you everything about his character.
Welcome back, George.

Like a mom going to college with the kids at 40, Lindsey Vonn shows up to try to steal the thunder from Mikaela Shiffrin. Vonn is so needy and terrible, what's next? Naked 40+ ski pics? Please retire.
