When a career criminal drug addict, George Floyd dies of a fentanyl overdose, saying I can't breathe, people burned shit down. Henry Nowok was only 18 years old, stabbed as he was crawling away from his attacker, told by police he wasn't stabbed while being HANDCUFFED, and bled to death right there while saying "I can't breathe" and there is ZERO outrage. Whats up bears, I just wanted to let you guys know that I'm going to be spending less time X for my mental health.
Lately the negativity has been way too much (specifically gender wars and hatred of women on the right wing) and it's making me miserable if I'm being fully honest. I don't know how long I'll be gone, my DMS however will still be open. I'll be checking them and I'll post a tweet here and there just to check in.
I always try to not let haters get the best of me but I've just been under the innate mindset that as a woman I'm less than and my opinions don't matter and I need to put my mental well being before anyone else's approval. I will never be a shitlib feminist lol but that doesn't mean I have to accept a narrative that forces me to shrink myself to fit in someone else's idea of what is right wing.

There were massive international protests over George Floyd and those police involved were severely punished with long prison sentences, yet the police responsible here did not even lose their jobs!

No urgency. No humanity. Just cold, ideological policing. Months later? Still no names. Still no suspensions. Still no accountability. Meanwhile, the same UK police have arrested over 12,000 people for social media posts. They move at lightning speed to jail citizens for tweets and online comments, yet they can’t even name or discipline the officers who allegedly let a stabbing victim die in handcuffs on the street. This is the definition of two-tier policing: aggressive against ordinary people speaking online, but protective when it comes to their own failures and protecting the narrative.
