@HMRCcustomers I have POA & ,gateway id. I phone up, when I reply to all questions Im directed on line then when I can’t provide passport or drivers licence I’m advised can’t do on line & to phone and it starts again!! Disgraceful service. I need a number where I can speak to someone for utr

@Ronangerard As you have power of attorney for your sister, if this in place with HMRC, then you'd be able to obtain a UTR by speaking to an adviser on the helpline. Our phone lines open at 8am Monday to Friday and are usually less busy between 8am and 9am. Webchat is open until 730pm 1/2

@HMRCcustomers I have been trying to speak to someone to get a UTR for my sister who is in a care home in order to complete her self assessment. I’m getting a complete ‘run around’ on your phone service and online. I need speak to someone PLZ HELP

@HMRCcustomers Hi Amadine yes I am power of attorney, I have a gateway number tried on line but as sister had no valid driver licence or passport told to go to phone & ‘run around’ starts. Can someone call me or can I actually speak to someone. I work this morning but free from 1pm
