Well it looks like we just had a major setback with Tesla @robotaxi in Austin! We are now back to Supervisors in the Driver’s seat WITH hands on the wheel!!! What on Earth is going on? Also this vehicle has no “Robotaxi” markings on the exterior.

How about two video clips showing the first of the production versions of the Cybercabs sporting the glossy deeper gold Molded-in-Color new look in the Giga Texas outbound lot today and possibly the last of the older “engineering” versions with the satin gold wrap being loaded up on transport trucks. Changing of the guard? I’m not sure, but this also is a great way to compare the visual look of the new vs the old. What do you think of how the Cybercab looks with the shiny gold?

@JoeTegtmeyer Hey @JoeTegtmeyer , they are mostly still test units, right? I assume we will see no-wheel testing in austin soon?

Cybercab action all over Giga Texas today, with 12 parked in the outbound lot (next to some Model Y’s for a good scale comparison), several driving around, 11 at the factory exit point and about a dozen more around & in the crash testing facility. Next week is April, so production is very near now, assuming @Tesla is still on target to launch this new vehicle! Lots to see today at the factory, so check out my main video later today!
