@MattSummerhill @TWFootball1867 Just thinking of use cases - analysts will define a model which values traits in players eg turnovers, forward passes into the box etc. Ai could in theory watch every match in a league and decide what patterns/traits lead to goals and look for those attributes in players

I'd say the main difference is whether the model advises or decides. Most of the AI chat is hype unless it's using data nobody else has to find players others miss

@SouthStandPies Owners from a gambling background have been absolutely fine with Brighton and Brentford (Bord previously working for both Bloom at Starlizard and Benham at Smartodds).

Like many, I’m glad we have had a bit of clarity on who is involved apart from James Bord. But the red flags are still there and flashing brighter than ever. There’s little known information on the wealth of all 3 that are involved. Between them all, they have a background of gaming and gambling. I don’t know how the EFL are going to see that. And beyond that, what do they bring in business knowledge? A lot of talk of data, but data doesn’t run football clubs. It doesn’t get the best sponsorship deals, kits, players or fans through the door. Given that their back ground seems a lot about data and their wealth is unknown, how does it fix the stadium issue? I don’t think I’ve seen anything positive about James Bord and his gang and the way it is being reported in the media of “preferred bidder”, makes me assume there’s something we don’t know. I hope I’m proved wrong and I don’t want to go round the basic thought of “anything’s better than DC”, but all the red flags are there 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩 I hope I’m proved wrong, but I don’t think I will be. #SWFC
