[FAMILY MEMBERS APPEARED IN COURT FOR MURDER IN SCHOEMANSDAL] Three family members: 1. George Kenedy Willis (55), son of the deceased victim. 2. Kenny Rudolph Willis (29) grandson of the deceased victim (Son of suspect number 01). 3. Nomvula Lucy Willis (75), wife of the deceased victim. Appeared at the Nkomazi Magistrate’s Court today in connection with the tragic murder of Mr. Freddy George Willis (80), and their case was postponed to 06 May 2025 for a formal bail application. The three suspects remain in custody. According to preliminary information, the victim’s son was visiting his parents when he was attacked by two armed men wearing balaclavas as he arrived in his Mercedes-Benz. The suspects reportedly tied him with a cable and proceeded into the house where they found Mr. Willies seated. They then sadly shot him point-blank before fleeing the scene in the son’s vehicle. A murder case was opened, and the investigation team worked tirelessly to gather evidence and track down the suspects. Their dedication and expertise in the field led to the swift arrest of the three family members, who now face murder charges. The Police cannot rule out further arrests as the investigation continues.
