These are all good points from Rep. Hunt. I am sure that these deals are very complex, and there are things we wanted that we did not get, but the critics would strengthen their case with a bit more nuance. I mean, it's just like Neville Chamberlain in Munich if we'd killed all of the Nazi Leadership and entirely wiped out the German military in advance of peace negotiations. 🤷‍♂️

For those claiming this is appeasement, let’s get serious. Operation Midnight Hammer wasn’t appeasement. Destroying Iran’s military capabilities wasn’t appeasement. Crippling Iran’s nuclear ambitions wasn’t appeasement. Restoring freedom of navigation through the Strait of Hormuz wasn’t appeasement. Appeasement is paying off aggressors and hoping for the best. President Trump did the opposite. He demonstrated strength, imposed consequences, and then secured a deal from a position of overwhelming leverage. And let’s not forget: this outcome wasn’t built overnight. It was years in the making. This is the same President who delivered the Abraham Accords, moved the U.S. Embassy to Jerusalem, and squeezed the Iranian regime so hard they struggled to fund their terror network. The goal was never endless war. We could have dropped bombs for weeks, months, or years. The goal was PEACE. But peace only lasts when our enemies know America is strong, our allies know America is reliable, and the world knows our President is willing to act.

Anyone contemplating voting for One Nation should look at what is happening in the United States under Donald Trump. Hanson is basically replicating his policies and values. If that’s what you want for Australia then OK, but if you’re concerned about Trump, look harder at Hanson.

I couldn’t help but think of my grandparents during Hanson’s address. They came to Australia with no English and set up a cafe in Adelaide. They contributed so much to the fabric of society, as did all the Greeks who settled there. Shame on Hanson for demonising migrants. #NPC

🚨 Bearish Oil , Bullish Stocks, Bullish AUD. Today, we wake up to news that the U.S will most probably be signing a peace deal with Iran on 19 June in Geneva, Switzerland. As a result, this is bearish for Oil, bullish for Stocks, and bullish for the AUD (as Australia exports metals and the war ending is bullish for Gold and Silver prices). Very simple analysis today, I will be keeping an eye on any war news. At the moment, the most recent news is that Iran will allow Free Hormuz Transit for 60 days under the act, which further confirms our bias above.
