Mini Tools also got native macOS notifications, so Keyboard Locker, Keep Awake, disk eject, and DNS flush results can stay visible after the menu bar popover closes. The popover is cleaner and faster too: Smart Advisor, Ops Feed, and Top Opportunities now stay on Home, while the menu bar focuses on live status and quick actions.

Room Service 2.6.0 is out 📦 This release expands the menu bar Mini Tools with Keep Awake, Eject All Disks, and Flush DNS Cache. Together with Keyboard Locker, the menu bar now has a small set of quick Mac utilities I want close while working.

The bigger invisible upgrade: scan speed. Developer and Full scans are now much faster, especially around heavy folders like Xcode Simulators, DerivedData, Docker, Unity caches, package caches, node_modules, and DeviceSupport. On the measured machine: • Xcode Simulators scan: ~107s → ~8s • overall Xcode scan: ~109s → ~8.5s • node_modules scan: ~5.96s → ~2.26s Room Service should feel much faster when scanning developer-heavy Macs.

Smart Advisor can now surface pending macOS update storage with a path back to Health Check. Smart Alerts can also notify once per day when prepared macOS update storage is waiting for restart. Clean Up also adds coverage for Xcode/CoreDevice install delta caches created by repeated physical-device deploys. Recipes can target them too, as a review-required custom Xcode cleanup scope.

Room Service 2.3.0 is out 📦 Health Check now understands pending macOS update storage. So prepared update data under system update locations is treated as restart/update state, instead of being mixed into normal cleanup recommendations.
