here’s another essay for you. my girl is unique in her own way. however you define talent in your own perspective is on you. her joining miss universe is talent for me. her brain & how she speaks her mind is talent for me. her being able to do a split is talent for me (i can’t even split but she can). her now learning ballet is talent for me. she’s grown as a person & I’m proud of what she’s become. she may not be the best in everything, she doesn’t have to, but at least she was always humble about everything she does. either learning to play an instrument, singing, dancing, & acting, i know she puts her heart in everything she does. that’s all that matters. talent isn’t just defined by being musically inclined, being good in art—acting, singing, dancing, etc., talent can be more than that. and so what if she doesn’t have friends in showbiz? but also, the ppl she’s met & became friends w/ through showbiz always had something good to say about her. it’s not up to me to have to explain in further context. she’s not “pa goody answer.” ever since, she’s always been true to her words. she’s been vulnerable w/ her thoughts & was always honest of her feelings. “self-centred”— i don’t think there’s anything wrong w/ that, but to an extent. when you’ve experienced heartbreak & pain from ppl you gave your heart to, it’s ok to ground yourself. as she once said, “ppl can grip you & break you down into pieces.” she had her fare share of struggles & experiences from ppl that reinforced her to guard her heart. but it was never to dismiss others where she’d only let her opinions flow. she was not selfish, it’s so unlike her. you’d probably still have another narrative despite reading this. so imma just leave my thoughts as is.
