Rockingham County Maintenance Dept. and our contractors hit the ground running this summer! We’re only 1.5 weeks in, and a lot has already been accomplished—with much more ahead. Wishing all our students and staff a safe and happy summer break! 🌞🔧🏫

Pre Con roofing meetings, 3 weeks out and three schools will be rolling out new roofs for RCS!

Exciting news! The new cooling tower has arrived at Williamsburg Elementary School—just in time for summer installation. We’re thrilled to take another step toward ensuring a cooler, more comfortable environment for our students and staff . Stay tuned for more updates!

Shout out to Skip today which he is one of 3 HVAC techs that keep our thousands of units, boiler and chill water pipe systems going for our 3 million square feet of school air environments. #Teamwork

New HVAC for a wing @DillardAcademy was lifted to the roof today. Summer work is in full swing at RCS!

We have a middle schooler and a 3rd grader now!!! It’s awesome to attend awards and graduations each year, even more special when it’s your own kids. No matter our jobs and responsibilities in this school system we all have an impact in helping these young ones succeed! 🐊 🐆
