Je suis chauffeur de bus depuis 15 ans et ce qui m'est arrivé vendredi, j'ai encore du mal à le digérer... 🚌 J'arrive à un arrêt où il y avait un monde fou. Je vois un monsieur en fauteuil qui attend, donc normalement, je déploie la rampe. Et là, le sketch commence... Deux gamins qui soufflent comme si je leur demandais la lune, et une dame bien habillée qui sort carrément : *"Non mais c'est pas vrai, on va encore perdre 10 minutes, je suis déjà en retard !"* Le pauvre monsieur était tellement mal à l'aise qu'il m'a regardé tout triste en me disant : "C'est pas grave chauffeur, rangez la rampe, je vais attendre le prochain, je ne veux pas déranger..." J'ai coupé le moteur, j'ai posé mes clés sur le tableau de bord et je me suis levé. Je me suis mis au milieu de l'allée et j'ai dit bien fort : "Ce monsieur a payé son ticket comme vous et il a sa place ici. Par contre, pour ceux que ça dérange de perdre 2 minutes, vous avez la chance d'avoir vos jambes, alors la porte est ouverte, finissez le trajet à pied !" Je peux vous dire qu'on aurait entendu une mouche voler. 🤐 J'ai pris tout mon temps pour l'installer, je lui ai fait un sourire et on est partis. Les deux jeunes n'ont plus décroché un mot et la dame a regardé par la fenêtre tout le long, bien rouge de honte. Le handicap, on ne le choisit pas. Par contre, être respectueux, c'est un choix qu'on fait tous les matins.
