With any luck, this is the nadir. If the RA drugs work and dialysis helps, I should start feeling better. Sure, life is never going to be the same again once I need dialysis, but it might be an improvement on this.

This week is really "crunch time" on my health crisis. Today: huge meeting of clinicians for last-ditch kidney-save attempts; lung scan (maybe tomorrow). Tomorrow: second dose of new RA drugs. Wednesday: kidney clinic where we ask them to start dialysis.
