Some people still seem to be confused about the boundary between flash fiction and prose poetry. It’s actually quite simple: it’s this bit of wood.

@karimfahmi Best of luck and thank you so much for having the guts and courage to take on important roles that portray broken-ness and darkness to spread awareness of such patterns and archetypes.

@karimfahmi I suggest, in oder to fix this, to actually bring up the topic of attachment patterns triggered by childhood trauma and how it affected the character's arc causing self sabotage in something like a podcast. Like Stilleto Podcast also produced by Shahed.

@karimfahmi Bringing up subconscious wounds in drama helps create awareness if the work focuses on transformation and shifting this destructive loop and perspective.

@karimfahmi Perhaps if omar and Fayrouz have owned up to how they could have changed their lives, if a shift in perspective from the victim mentality have been achieved, the series could have served it's purpose , truly completing the narrative arc and the hero's journey.

@karimfahmi Fayrouz could have realized that her own mother wounds ( her mom selling her off to an older man) created shame, self-loathing and helplessness. She could have stood up and turned her life around rather than blaming it on everything else.

@karimfahmi Transformation happens when a person realizes they've been living the victim mentality. Omar could have realized that grieving and forgiving his mother could have stopped the destructive loop.

@karimfahmi Almost every character in the series chose self-sabottage and continued in his/her destructive loop. This work would have served it's purpose if at least the main characters had reached a "Shift" a change in perspective even if it was right before they die

@karimfahmi My only issue with the series is that usually when the narrative arc of emotionally unbalanced and traumatized characters is brought to light in a work of art or fiction, the main purpose should be bringing out a transformation.

@karimfahmi We saw the mother wound portrayed in Omar's character and Fayrouz's also. He yearned to be mothered and she yearned to mother others to make up for the lack of mothering caused by her own mother. We see the father wound in Yasmine as well.

@karimfahmi Dear Karim, I have to say that this mini series has been one of the most worthwhile works of Arabic drama that I've watched in a while because it doesn't shy away from portraying the narrative arcs of characters with destructive attachment patterns
