“But Rose, what about late-term abortions? Those fetuses could potentially fit the biological definition of life!” Yes, but they also fit the biological definition of a parasite. I’m not sure that argument carries the weight that you think it does.

You are entitled to believe that life begins at conception. But you are not entitled to make laws based of beliefs. There is no secular backing to the idea that abortion is murder AND THAT IS THE ENTIRE POINT.

A point that a lot of people seem to be missing right now: there is no objective basis to the idea that life begins at conception. An embryo, and for most of its existence, a fetus, do not fit any scientific or medical definition of being alive.

One of the most frustrating things about skincare science on social media is that a lot of people *who should know better* are posting misinformation - to suck up to brands, or for the sake of engagement, or because they're too lazy to do a proper factcheck...

Anyway just came back to say that I recently realized how powerful I am. I can just decide to do things and then I make them happen. So y'all had better be scared.
