As a proud Cork native, I'm delighted to see Barryscourt Castle restored to its former glory. This castle holds a special place in Cork’s heritage, and its reopening is a moment of pride for the region. Grateful to the OPW for preserving it for future generations.

Super visit to Four Courts today to see conservation works. Stone capitals being repaired or entirely replaced with new, hand-carved capitals. A complex project led by brilliant @opwireland Dublin Conservation & Capital Works team. Lovely to see my pal Judge Conleth Bradley too!

It was great to be @MeathGAA awards night and to witness Pat "Red" Collier being inducted into the County GAA Hall of Fame. Pat is a legendary footballer, a Meath and @stpatsmeath man to the core, and was on the Meath team that won the all-Ireland in 1967 by beating Cork.

Very proud of my Dad who was inducted into @MeathGAA Hall of Fame. 81 years young and as passionate about Meath football and @StPatsMeathGAA as ever!

Was honoured to attend @tcddublin last Friday to see the inimitable @fergussheil be conferred with an honorary doctorate for his wonderful work in music and opera in Ireland. Few people as deserving as Fergus of such an honour. Bravo!! @IrishNatOpera @artscouncil_ie #opera
