@PatCrave Student loans is no joke
Good for him. And huge congratulations 🎉
He didn’t buy million dollar home (or maybe he did 🤷♀️) but he prioritized and paid off debt
Solid man
Patrick Ball gets emotional when talking about paying off his student loans after three months of working on ‘The Pitt’ in new interview with Cultured Magazine:
“ I paid off my student loans like three months into The Pitt, and that was a really profound moment ‘cause I thought I was gonna die with it. It’s a huge burden to carry, and a lot of people carry it. I was $80,000 in debt and I had been through a series of failed relationships where my financial insecurity was a real problem. I had just thought that was going to be my life forever, and that is a really heavy thing to live with. Paying off those student loans and getting back to zero, I remember being like, Man, if this show works, great. If it doesn’t work, they can’t take that away from me. I am out of debt. No take-backsies on that.”
My grandson found this in a textbook we bought at Halfprice Books. He asked me if this is “what library cards looked like”, but I actually don’t know what it might be from. Any clue? There is nothing on the back.
🎼 Somewhere in Time (1980) gave us one of the most unforgettable romantic scores in film history.
Composed by John Barry and featuring Sergei Rachmaninoff’s timeless melody, the music still gives chills decades later.
A true cult classic that proves great love stories need great music. ❤️

Teaser and the Fire Cat—-great album from a talented man
Now known as Yusuf Islam (who may have ties with bad groups of people)
"Peace Train" 1971
Great song, but the artist behind it sure brought a lot of drama into the 80s.
Some stations pulled his songs, and one Los Angeles host encouraged listeners to turn in records to be destroyed.
Did you know about any of this?
What band or artist did you discover completely by accident (maybe on the radio, a mixtape, or flipping channels) that ended up becoming one of your all-time favorites?
