@BeamerRocks@cherikempf@profastpitch MLBtv costs money and works for MLB. Local fans don’t need to pay for streaming or cable because they should be buying tickets. Butts in seats grows the game. A fan in Virginia wanting to see Chicago should have to pay for streaming. Can’t nationally televise on small ad rev$
@JoeKcsoftball@KZMarsh88@sammymarshall10@Chicago_Bandits@profastpitch chooses too* ... what would you do in her shoes? Get an office job and stop playing the game you love or take Japan as a fun opportunity to live and play in another country, make some money and keep playing ball?
@JoeKcsoftball@sammymarshall10@Chicago_Bandits@profastpitch Lol its cute you think someone doesn’t “allow” the teams to make a profit. It’s not like the league said “oh nope, you can’t sell more tickets because we’re going to be in the black. Better stop trying to call fans. Gotta stay in the red!”
@BeamerRocks@cherikempf@profastpitch how should the NPF make money to pay players, pay for broadcasting equipment, internet bandwidth to stream / general operating costs if there isn’t a charge for streaming? You cannot just film something and get it on cable TV like magic
