A few days ago, Dr. Mahnoor was the victim of an acid attack. Today, we are mourning the tragic loss of 17-year-old #EshalFatima from #Jhang. 💔 According to reports, Eshal was kidnapped and subjected to a horrific assault before she succumbed to her injuries. Her story has shaken the conscience of the nation and left many questioning how long women and children will continue to suffer such brutality. What makes this even more painful is that these tragedies are not isolated incidents. From Punjab to #Balochistan, countless women and children continue to face harassment, violence, abuse, and exploitation. Many cases never make headlines, and many victims never receive the justice they deserve. A society cannot call itself civilized while its daughters live in fear and its children remain vulnerable. The safety of women and children is not a regional issue, a political issue, or a social media trend, it is a fundamental human right. Today, we remember Eshal Fatima. We stand with every woman and child who has suffered violence, whether in Jhang, Balochistan, or anywhere else. Their pain deserves to be acknowledged, their voices deserve to be heard, and their rights deserve to be protected. May Eshal Fatima rest in peace, and may #justice prevail.

Every morning in #Quetta, thousands of girls leave for school with the same routine, books in hand, uniforms neat, eyes focused on the road ahead. But for many of them, the journey is not just about #education. It is about surviving the walk. On busy streets, at quiet corners, near bus stops and shop fronts, there are men who stare too long, follow too closely, and say things no girl should have to hear. Most of the time, nothing is done. People see it, but they keep walking. Girls learn to change routes, walk in groups, lower their gaze, and reach school carrying fear along with their bags. I have seen it too many times to call it rare. Different girls, different days, but the same experience repeating like a pattern the city has learned to ignore. Some stop talking about it. Some stop walking alone. Some start missing school altogether. And yet, it keeps happening, again and again, every single day. Not because it is normal, but because it is allowed to continue in silence.

#Quetta is more than just a city to me, it is my home and a part of my heart. Surrounded by beautiful mountains and filled with warm, kind people, it has given me countless memories. Every street reminds me of moments of joy, friendship, and belonging. No matter where life takes me, the beauty and spirit of Quetta will always stay with me. I am proud to call Quetta my home. #Balochistan #poetry #myself #home

Daughter of #Balochistan When people talk about the women of Balochistan, they often don’t truly understand their real struggles. At Quaid-i-Azam University in Islamabad, there are many Baloch girls who have left their homes, traveling hundreds of miles to pursue their dreams. Their journey contains far more hardships than comfort. Many of these girls come from areas where girls’ education is still not given the importance it deserves. They face social pressure, financial difficulties, and countless barriers, yet they do not give up. They understand that education is not just a degree, but a light of hope for their families, their communities, and future generations. In the hostels, libraries, and classrooms of Quaid-i-Azam University, these daughters of Balochistan quietly prove every day that dreams are not limited by geography, language, or circumstances. Their silent struggle carries a message: “If a girl is given the right to education, she can not only change her own life but also transform an entire society.” Today, daughters of Balochistan do not need sympathy, they need opportunities. They do not need pity, they need equal rights. Because when a Baloch girl moves forward, an entire dream moves forward with her. #Education is every daughter’s right, whether she is from Balochistan or any corner of the world. @QAU_Official

When I think about #Balochistan, I think about how rich the land is in resources, and how unevenly development is felt by its people. From where I stand, it often feels like wealth exists in the ground, but opportunities don’t always reach everyday lives. I believe development should mean inclusion, not distance between resources and people.

Beneath the vast and sweeping sky, Where ancient winds of Chiltan sigh, She walks the dunes with quiet grace, A gentle warmth upon her face. Her hands hold secrets of the clay, That wash the desert's thirst away. In every thread of red and gold, A thousand generations told. The mountains keep my mother's name, A fierce, unyielding, sacred flame. She bends her arm to give us bread, Where fierce and loyal lines are led. A voice of courage, calm and deep, A steady watch she loves to keep. The desert blooms when she is near, A soul that knows no edge of fear.

Reading your words leaves me with a heavy heart, deeply moved by the tragic reality you have highlighted. It is a profound injustice that the simple act of seeking an education, which should be a universal right and a path to a brighter future, has been turned into a dangerous risk for the daughters of #Balochistan. No mother should have to face the agonizing fear of sending her child to school, and no young girl should have her innocence, dreams, and potential stolen by the brutal coercion of militancy. The stories of Laiba and Aliza underscore the heartbreaking vulnerability of these young women, who find themselves trapped between poverty, rigid traditions, and militant exploitation. Seeing girls targeted for recruitment and female teachers attacked is a stark reminder of how deliberately progress is being #suppressed. Yet, your reminder that they are being falsely paraded as symbols while facing destruction behind closed doors strips away the propaganda and exposes the raw truth of their suffering. Despite this immense sorrow, your message beautifully shifts from grief to a powerful stance of solidarity. True liberation and strength for Balochistan will never be found in violence or manipulation; it rests entirely in peace, the pen, and the unyielding resilience of these women. By breaking the silence and assuring them that their pain is seen, you offer a vital lifeline of hope, standing firmly with them as they fight to claim the safe, peaceful future they deserve.

The Oppressed Daughters of Balochistan: My heart feels heavy when I think of the countless Baloch sisters who wake up every day under the shadow of fear. Rebel groups have turned the lives of ordinary Baloch women into a daily struggle. Educated girls are targeted for recruitment, blackmailed, and exploited. Female teachers are shot on their way to school. Young mothers live in terror that their daughters will be next. Many Baloch women are trapped between poverty, tradition, and militant pressure. They are paraded as “symbols of resistance” on social media, while behind closed doors they face coercion, threats, and destroyed futures. School buses are attacked. Girls’ education is deliberately crushed. Dreams are buried under fear. I feel deep pain imagining their silent tears the worry in a mother’s eyes when she sends her daughter to school, not knowing if she will return safely. Stories like Laiba from Khuzdar haunt me. A 19-year-old Baloch daughter brainwashed and almost turned into a suicide bomber. And Aliza, the 13-year-old who fought against all odds just to study. These are not just names. These are our sisters whose innocence and potential are being stolen by militancy۔ But today I want to speak directly to every oppressed Baloch woman and girl: You are not alone. Your pain is seen. Your strength is admired. Your quiet courage to wake up every day and still hope for a better tomorrow is the real power of Balochistan. The day will come when no Baloch daughter will be forced into violence. When schools will be safe. When education will be your right, not a risk. Sisters, hold on to your dreams. Education is your strongest weapon. Peace is your real freedom. Your voices, your determination, and your resilience will write a new chapter for Balochistan. You are not victims forever, you are the future. Rise with hope. The light is coming. We stand with you. #Balochistan #BalochWomen #EndMilitancy #GirlsEducation #HopeForBalochistan

Knowing Aleena personally makes this achievement even more special to me. We’ve spent so much time together, shared conversations, laughs, and dreams, so seeing her publish her first book at just 15 fills me with genuine pride. I’ve seen her dedication, her curiosity, and the way she always pushed herself to learn and grow. What many people see today as success is actually the result of countless hours of hard work and determination. Seeing a close friend achieve something so meaningful reminds me that dreams really can come true when you stay committed to them. @AleenaBaloch9 , I’m incredibly proud of you. Your journey is inspiring not just because of what you achieved, but because of the person you are. I can't wait to see all the amazing things you'll accomplish in the future.

When I see women like Aida Baloch achieving such incredible milestones, I genuinely feel proud and inspired. Coming from a small coastal town like #Ormara and earning a PhD through years of hard work and dedication is no small #achievement. What touches me most is knowing that her success will give hope to so many young girls who dream of a better future. Stories like hers remind me that courage, education, and determination can take you far beyond the limits others may place on you.

Dawn in Balochistan- light scrapes the seam of mud-brick, a slow blade, like the 120-day wind. The mountains keep my mother's namein their granite mouth. Her hands-rain without permission, caravans returning to a trusted spring. The bend of her arm turns dough into shelter. Thread binds wall to wall.Nothing drifts. Nothing breaks. (Zoleikha Baloch)

Reading Syeda Mahnoor Baloch’s story truly touched my heart. Her journey from the mountains of Kharan to the United Kingdom is a beautiful example of how education, determination, and hope can transform lives. What inspires me most is that she chose growth and opportunity over hardship and limitations. Her story reminds us that cultures and identities are preserved not through conflict, but through learning, peace, and progress. Mahnoor’s journey is proof that when people are given the chance to learn and dream, they can achieve incredible things. Stories like hers give hope and show us the power of choosing a brighter future.

Reading Karima Baloch’s story, it is impossible not to feel the heavy weight of the conflict that shaped her entire life. It hurts to think that finding refuge in Canada didn't actually mean she was safe from the weight of her past. She didn't choose a quiet, comfortable life in exile. Instead, she kept speaking out, carrying the pain and the hopes of her people with her, even when dealing with issues that were incredibly dangerous and politically charged. When you look at everything she stood for, it feels deeply personal. It’s hard not to think that her fierce activism made her a target for the powerful, violent groups caught up in the conflict, forces that likely saw her voice as a genuine threat. While that feels like a natural conclusion to draw given the harsh realities of her work, it’s a personal reflection rather than something proven by hard facts. The painful reality is that Canadian authorities found no evidence of foul play, and to this day, no one has been held responsible. Without clear answers, we are left only with heartbreaking speculation. But what really stays with you, what truly hurts and inspires at the same time, is her sheer determination. Even miles away from home, living in exile and carrying an unimaginable burden, she refused to be silenced. She used every bit of her strength to fight for what she believed in. That kind of unwavering commitment, standing tall against overwhelming odds right until the very end, is what makes her story so profoundly moving.
