Even if you feel like the worst sinner in the world, go to Mass anyway. The Eucharist is not a reward for the perfect but food for the weary, strength for the weak, and medicine for the broken. Remember: every Saint has a past, and every sinner has a future. Grace transforms lives, and God’s mercy is greater than any sin. Amen 🙏.

Father Larry Holland, a 79-year-old Catholic priest, recently broke his hip. Doctors at Vancouver General Hospital in Canada offered him assisted suicide TWICE. Even after he told them he is morally opposed to doctors helping patients kill themselves.

Dear Friends, I always turn to you for prayers. I could use some prayers from your lips to God's ear, that I can find a good weekend chef at our John Paul II Manor. Our present staff person had to take a medical departure. Yours truly must cook until we find someone, and my rheumatoid arthritis and already demanding jobs as administrator of the home, provincial, and prison chaplain make another responsibility a really terrible predicament. Thanks, my dear ones. I know the Lord will find a way.

Our daughter, Asha, has made it through the first stage of the bone marrow transplant intended to cure her leukemia. This week she will be tested for residual cancer. This test is critical. I ask you to pray for her and the test's result.

The @EdmontonOilers season comes to an end. PK Killed them! ANA PP 9/18 in the series. EDM compromised at Center: McDavid, Draisaitl and Dickinson all played through significant LBI's, Henrique-out. Ducks were better, especially on home ice. Tough season overall in Oil Country.

16 years and I still get a little sad when the season is over (at least for me). The ebbs and flows of following a contender never get old. Thanks for watching, listening, and perhaps most importantly, caring. My job is a privilege I don’t take lightly. Until we meet again…

I love serving the people. I love them. I love you all dear friends. Know I have you in mind. At every Eucharistic Celebration and during my Rosary prayers, among other intentions, I remember three intentions for you: For those that have asked me for prayers, those who need my prayers even when they have not asked me, and for the people who support us.

Always remember us priests in your prayers. In a special way pray for us in this mission and remote area. We have a lot to do from catechesis to constructions. The rapidly growing Catholic population also requires us to handle the people well so they could remain strong in faith.
