@JayWamsted It was a beautiful sunny day and since my school is close to a major airport, we were told not to go outside. Try explaining that to 1st graders without telling them what happened. Such a sad day😔

Who out there was already teaching in 2001 when the twin towers fell? I was a tutor at the time, so I slept through the whole thing. Didn't even have a TV or a decent phone so I found out late in the afternoon. I can't imagine being in front of a classroom at the time.
