@OrevaZSN I get the point, but it’s not that simple. Employers shouldn’t control your whole life, but if your public posts damage trust, confidentiality, or the company’s reputation, they will care. Freedom is real, but consequences are real too.

Jobs do NOT pay enough to try to regulate what I choose to do in my free time or what I post on my social media. Employers should realize I represent them only during the hours they pay me, any other time I represent myself, because this job is not my life.

My gamble is that ruining your life in your 20s to be unemployed and play video games is still better than working 47 years to accrue a Roth IRA just to retire, have an existential crisis because your sense of self is tied to working, and be immediately diagnosed with cancer
