The boys ran awesome today with 3 lifetime PRs and a pack time from 2-5 of just 15 seconds! Gavin Cooke led the way in 16:28, Kaden Klink in 16:55, Owen Fletcher in 17:06, Brady Leininger in 17:08, Fife Robertson in 17:10, Landin Stultz in 17:32, and Grady Hoover in 17:47

The girls ran their best team race of the season today, with 5 of the 7 girls running lifetime PRs! Summer Ross placed 25th in 19:26, Jillian Elsworth was 83rd in 20:53, Val Carmona ran 22:01, Macy Newhard 22:31, Camila Urbina 22:55, Kylie Zeeb 23:01, and Anahy Reyes 27:43

Girls XC team placed 6th today at New Haven Classic. Award winners for the Hornets were Summer Ross in 2nd & Jillian Elsworth in 9th. Also running well today to round out the top 5 were Val Carmona in 45th, Macy Newhard in 47th, and Kylie Zeeb in 59th

Boys XC team raced in the New Prairie Invite on Saturday placing 5th out of 27 teams in the AA varsity race. Award winning Hornets were Gavin Cooke in 10th, Owen Fletcher in 12th, and Fife Robertson in 24th. Over 100 schools were represented in several races throughout the day

Girls XC placed 10th out of 31 teams. Award winning Hornets were Summer Ross in 8th, and Jillian Elsworth in 28th. Rounding out the Varsity team were Val Carmona (68th), Macy Newhard (88th), Camila Urbina (112th), and Anhy Reyes (128th)

The boys team also raced in the JV, and the Fresh/Soph races. Awrd winners in JV race were Grady Hoover and Landon Titler placing 3rd and 21st.

@SteveLantz1 The girls XC team finished 3rd out of 11 schools at the NECC Superduals. Summer Ross was the individual champion with a time of 19:50. Rounding out the team was Jillian Elsworth in 6th, Val Carmona in 24th, Macy Newhard in 35th, Anahy Reyes in 42nd and Kylie Zeeb in 54th.

Boys JV squad had a day as well with Levi Biddle placing first overall, Anthony Camillo in 22nd, Atticus Heavin in 23rd, and Landon Titler in 30th. PRs also for Logan Pugh, Liam Corcoran, Aiden Frederick, and Trenten Gramling.

Girls XC placed 4th in purple division at the Marion Invite. All six girls had PRs. Summer Ross & Jillian Elsworth medaled in 4th & 6th. Val Carmona, Macy Newhard, Camila Urbina rounded out the top five runners. Summer’s time of 19:37 makes her 6th fastest in Angola history
