Over the past 2 days our new S2 @RosshallAcademy set out to answer the BIG question “How do we Survive the Anthropocene?” - they designed & presented Sustainable Solutions which might help to reduce our impact on the planet!! Amazing engagement & models produced by all involved!

Some of our Science classes had a fun break from their usual learning with a visit from Rolls Royce on Tuesday! Students got to learn about airplane engines and upcoming apprenticeships. They even got to compete with each other and test their own paper airplane making skills

After learning about Chemical Spills & the tragic events of the DeepWaterHorizon, the LabScience class participated in a simulated oil spill clean up challenge, with limited resources. Luke and Mia came out on top, recovering 15ml of the 20ml that was spilled into their ocean! 👏🏻
