The characters who had sex all died, especially in Friday the 13th. There’s a reason that the Scream franchise uses “have sex and die” as one of its rules.

All monsters are manifestations of fear. But the Dracula vampire does specifically have sexual connotations. Not all blood sucking creatures are inherently sexual.
