No one in Japan has labeled every single fire as arson. We're simply asking why there are so many of them. Why suddenly? Why now? What has changed? Naturally, a lot of us are concerned. These are our sacred places. We have every right to ask what's happening.

Another temple fire. This time, Daihoji Temple in Takaoka, Toyama. Apparently, it was founded in 1453 and holds Important Cultural Properties by Hasegawa Tohaku. I’m glad no one was injured. But haven’t there been way too many temple fires lately? Was it arson? An accident? A management issue? We still don’t know. But so many temples that stood for hundreds of years are burning… Why?

Another Shinto Shrine has been burned down. This time it was the Urufushine Shrine in Nabari City, Mie Prefecture. This Shinto Shrine was over 1000 years old, survived everything natural disasters, civil wars & even WW ll but it couldn't survive diversity.

🇯🇵 On May 6th, the Furumachi Atago Shrine burned down. The 300+ year-old main hall was completely destroyed. Flames spread to nearby homes/offices and a 90 year old woman was injured. This is the 7th major fire at a holy site this year in Japan.

@NCucerzan Well they won't let you park at Boardwalk to enjoy the Boardwalk anymore so I'm not surprised. The only exception was if you were going to the art gallery for a painting as you can't just take those on the bus system. Now it has left and I'm sure there is 0 parking there now.

It still shocks me how much Boardwalk has died off over the years. I guess that’s what happens when people take advantage of the parking to get into EPCOT without paying. Really sad to see

Yes, this project is still under construction. But views like this reinforce my feeling that modern Disney increasingly designs the box first and the world around it second. You can already tell there won’t be the winding pathways, quiet discovery spaces, or layered transitions that once defined Disney design. This is basically a straight shot to a massive coaster dropped at the end of the street. It's going to feel like that. The park itself used to be the experience. Now it often feels like the spaces between attractions matter less than moving guests from one giant IP-driven ride complex to the next. The formula now seems simple: roller coasters + IP = enough. The rest matters less.

@BurnerLJohnson You either forgot about the mass casualty day that was April 27th or you didn't live in Alabama that day. Those tornadoes in Mississippi could have easily ran across Alabama just like they did 15 years ago. Mississippi wasn't that lucky.

I just spent 2 incredible weeks in Italy and it is so frustrating to come back to the U.S… How is it possible @RobertKennedyJr that the Italian food supply is so vastly superior. I literally ate bread at every meal, dessert multiple times per day, and generally ate way more than I do in the U.S. Not once did I have acid reflux. Not one headache, no digestive problems, and I didn’t gain any weight. If I ate the same way in the U.S. (I used to at times) I would have gone through a full bottle of Tums and Advil just to get through the day… WHY does the U.S. allow glyphosate in wheat, high fructose corn syrup in food and who knows what in our milk products? The difference in quality of life in Italy vs the U.S. is staggering from their common sense (anti corporate) food regulation. WHY aren’t more people upset about this? The U.S. is the richest country in the world and we eat like one of the poorest.

Hey @Ford, Congress, and everyone else that needs to read this. I am NOT buying any vehicle that will be monitoring me with a camera, and whatever other technology you decide to put in cars, while I am driving. I would rather drive a 1970 car with a carburetor. And while we are at it, I am not giving you my retina scans, nor letting you test my breath, not even give you my fingerprints. I am sure the vast majority of Americans feel this way.

The oldest churche in New York mysteriously caught fire in New York. Remember when Canada and Europe imported a bunch of muslims and all of their Churches started burning down? Certainly random, has nothing to do with any of that. Don't look into it.
