Usually his next choice is making squawking noises by now.

I interpreted this the same way I interpreted Kyle Connor's response to if he would embrace the youth movement. He says he'll embrace winning. These guys want to win. They're happy to do it here. But just playing games alone doesn't mean having a chance to win.

That....does not sound like someone who thinks his future is with Winnipeg. Combined with the comments about the direction of the team and the frustration with what's in front of him...whoof.

The year Laine was drafted 2nd overall we finished in the 6th draft position. This year it’s gonna be 7th or 8th at the worst. What an injection of life it would be to get another lottery win like that!

@ConnorHrabchak1 That’s not a player who is going to ask for a trade. That’s a player who is answering questions honestly the day after a long and disappointing season. Cant wait for all the stupid speciation to come from this.

45 CPC MPs could start a new Conservative Progressive Right Party and become the official opposition after the next election. Such a Party would immediately gain Official Party Status. Just change the order of the letters the CPR Party would be like the CRAP incident of past.

@jec79 Ultimately, I am hopeful that the CPC purge their entire leadership group. Every government has a shelf life but, in the past, the alternate government party was a tolerable option. I am actually fearful of what would happen if this Rogues gallery ever formed government.

@kentmaurstad @stumanchuwpg If Comrie played better during Hellebuyck’s absence is about #12 on the 50 point Ifs and Buts list. I like the guy but I think he either re-signs with the Jets or goes to Europe. He got his opportunity for a payday in Buffalo, I doubt there will be many opportunities for him.

@RossmurrayI @stumanchuwpg You put some thought into that. I like Comrie. Would love to see him back. If he gets an opportunity elsewhere for more money and expanded opportunity, I’d be happy for him. But you touched upon it, any 2G won’t really sway what the season will look like.

@talliwagger Try to understand that there is a difference between relentlessly attacking someone and refusing to participate in Harper, Scheer, O’Toole and Poilievre promotion. Please learn the difference between media and propaganda. It is not the media’s responsibility to turd polish.

Can anyone claiming to be a Conservative and calling for Pierre to step down tell me who would be a better replacement? We all know the media will get to work attacking them the same way they did with Harper, Scheer, O’Toole, and now Poilevre.

@stumanchuwpg @kentmaurstad 5) Let’s be honest. The 2G isn’t responsible for what happened this year and won’t be a difference maker next year. Comrie will come with a hometown discount. Might as well save salary for a legitimate 2C. The cap is going up, but the Jets willingness to spend to it won’t be.

@stumanchuwpg @kentmaurstad 4) If Helle gets injured and Comrie can’t effectively step in then look at a trade for someone who is currently a 3G. There are always guys like James Reimer (bad example, I know) who are looking for one more shot at an NHL spot.
