In 2019 my brother was in Brazil working with Pelé & I was on chemo preparing for my 2nd bowel cancer surgery.He sent me a good luck video telling me to “keep the ball rolling.” 2 years later he would be diagnosed with the same cancer as me.A beautiful man @bowelcanceruk #Pele

I think patients like Rosy should get a cure. The way to cure(prevent new mets) is to enhance anti-tumor immunity before(better) or after reaching NED. There is no soc to do that now, but there some practical treatments, such as neoadjuvant chemos, cancer vaccine trials etc.

Nobody have interest to deveop cure for #stage4 cancer if we can prevent cancer or detect and cure cancer at early stage.

@AlterCancerCare Surely we should do more to keep NED patients clear for longer? Why wait until we are repeatedly in real trouble? I am lucky and want to be active about staying here, other than self prescribed low dose aspirin I am on no drugs at all.What do you think @karamoon ?

@AlterCancerCare I would love to know your thoughts regarding patients like myself who have reached NED numerous times.I am stage 4 bowel with recurrence in liver & lungs.Currently NED off treatment for past 6 months but feel like a sitting duck waiting for it to return & told to expect it.
