Every month our members assist with the preparation and serving of a meal at the Upper Room Soup Kitchen. This week, our Rotary Youth Exchange Student Clara joined PP Najam and others to help serve our monthly meal. #peopleofaction #maketheseasonkind

You will find our members serving breakfast at several schools, assisting with Rotary Radio Bingo, working with students in the STRIVE and Rotary Youth Parliament programs, serving meals at the Upper Room, delivering food hampers, organizing fundraisers, and much, much more.

December 5 is International Volunteer Day, a day Rotary clubs worldwide celebrate by highlighting member volunteerism and service. We'd like to acknowledge our members who volunteer their time and talents every single day. Our members truly personify Service Above Self.

This year's Frank Zakem Memorial Award was awarded to Lawrence Chan of Three Oaks High School. The Llew Robinson and Brien Willoughby Rotary Youth Parliament Leadership Scholarships were awarded to Johanna Forbes of Colonel Gray and Caleigh Moreland of Bluefield

The 36th Rotary Youth Parliament has officially ended. Congratulations to all of the students, their teachers, and the hard working committee who made it all possible. Thank you to the Speaker and staff of the Legislative Assembly of PEI and the MLAs who volunteer their time.

The 36th Rotary Youth Parliament has officially begun with the reading of the Speech from the Throne by the Lt. Governor, the Honourable Wassim Salamoun. The participants never cease to impress us with their ideas for a better PEI.

Our guest speaker former Police Chief and retired member of the Armed Forces, Charlottetown CAO Brad MacConnell spoke about Prince Edward Island veteran and Cabinet Minister Daniel J. MacDonald.

Our Remembrance Day meeting is always meaningful. Today, we were honoured to welcome the Lt. Governor of PEI, and Her Honour Marie Salamoun Dunn to our meeting. In addition to giving remarks, His Honour laid the wreath in memory of the fallen.
