Margarita Maggie Poposka recollects “12 years ago, I joined Rotary and was told “You are the future”. Today, I stand here and I say “I became the future””. The next generation of leadership will be all of us”. #connecttochange

Itani runs 16 second-hand clothes stores in Lebanon with 160 employees. Everything that can’t be reused is #upcycled in the “Carry Your Pants” initiative that is also helping many vulnerable families. "I don’t live a fun life, but I am content with everything."

In recollecting his success story, Itani narrated how he was raised in #Beirut where he noticed a huge class gap. He initiated a volunteering campaign of clothes collection and distribution.We don’t have a single organization that is specialized in 2nd hand clothes distribution.

Mrs. Romans:'50% of the National Lifeline for Suicide Prevention hotline callers are suicidal. 60% are between the ages of 18-24. The youth are struggling and in need of assistance. #therapy is for everyone, not only for those who can afford it. It’s fine not to be fine.'

Mr. Bassam Falah, warns against cognitive biases when investing. He highlights 5 traps; Anchoring, confirmation, survival, momentum&sunk cost biases. Investors should look at the bigger picture & not make decisions based on sunk costs. #investing #CognitiveBiases #connecttochange

"Dr. Roni Alpha , Chairman and General Manager of Properwords raised philosophical and ethical concerns regarding the Sophia phenomenon. Sophia and other robots can now experience and express all human emotional aspects. The risk is that such robots can influence the user."
