I know I’ll sound like a Miami homer but the initial flaw in this and a lot of rankings that under valued Miami was the pre season bias toward the SEC in particular and against the supposed lesser Power 4 conferences (Big 12 and ACC). Just because SEC teams have bigger crowds doesn’t mean they have better teams. But the pre season bias really damages a Miami or any non SEC/BIG 10 school simply due to these presumptions before play begins. Conference road games are hard in EVERY conference. Indiana to a lesser extent was also consistently overlooked due to their logo not what happened on the field.

When @MarkRicht took the Miami job, he made it a point to visit the local youth teams. It wasn’t necessarily going to pay off during his tenure, but he did it for the long-term health of the program. The young man to his left is still throwing up the U. Malachi Toney.

Can Any ticket brokers with experience selling CFP Championship games give any comps and insights into how they think prices will move between now and right after kick off? Lots of IU fans want to know ! And BTW, FYI, the base price of tickets went from $350 to where they are now immediately after Miami won. It’s a home game for them. So we need to know the best path to tickets for IU fans !

Canes fans, I don’t care how much you can get on selling your allotment of tickets, DO NOT SELL THEM. WE NEED CANES FANS IN THE BUILDING.
