@imposingelitism @TWarPhilosopher Chimaev literally showed the same cardio as always. When someone makes him work the first round, he cannot always keep grappling. Usaman and Burns showed that. People are acting as if Chimaev has ever shown good cardio. In the DDP fight, he didn't get tired because DDP didn't try

@TWarPhilosopher Tbh I think Chimaev beat himself by not bringing his A game. Bad training + bad weight cut just made him look like someone trying to mimic Chimaev's style and realizing they don't have the stamina for it after rd2 then switching up styles

@SICKYDOESMMA It was ~1 month between the fights, he was still fully trained from the Cannonier bout, and he didn't absorb too much damage so 1 month no training meant he recovered a lot. Fight at LHW favored Sean hugely considering the size disparity.

Khabib would slowly break you down in round 1, mix up the striking into takedowns/clinches and make people fade as the fight goes on
Khamzat Chimaev throws the kitchen sink at you in round 1 and if it doesn’t work out, he doesn’t really have a plan after that
