We have new work out today @JAMAHealthForum exploring if removal of Medicaid prior auths for buprenorphine changed buprenorphine prescriptions Hypothesis: PAs are a barrier to care and removal will result in more prescriptions Results: There was minimal change after PA removal

The unintended consequence of living abroad for a decade is you grow apart from your family. When you dearest grandma passed away, you don’t grief as much as you thought you would. It’s just another day of life. After all, you haven’t seen her much & won’t the last time neither.

@BoyiGuo Have you tried reaching out to the grad school and see if someone would be willing to take a look at your dissertation before you defend?

@RoubaCh6 My defense is scheduled July 12th. The thing is I don't have a month. My starting date is August 1st, particularly for my working visa.

I’m stressed out about my graduation. Not about finish writing dissertation. Instead, it’s about getting dissertation formatting approved and getting working visa. I thought I planned ahead already. But there are still so many unexpected hurdles. They literally hurt people.

@BoyiGuo When are planning on defending? Don’t worry about the formatting, I am sure you won’t need a month.

It is more painful when you realize your timing is messed up because getting your dissertation formatting approved could takes month for ProQuest even you are passed by your committee. And only after dissertation formatting approved, I can say the degree is pending, not earlier.
