Finally, we identified two bacteria species that were enriched in neurotypical people whose provision to mice could ameliorate both colitis severity and its associated sociability deficits. Give it a read and comment below with any questions or comments!

We are excited to share the publication of our latest paper! In furthering our understanding of the gut-brain axis, we showed that past intestinal inflammation is associated with deficits in sociability in mice. nature.com/articles/s4146…

We also discovered that the microbiotas from people with autism spectrum disorder can convey worsened colitis severity in mice.
