@unikoshardware @MizoChris We don't suggest going sideways, even Jon(jonnyguru) doesn't suggest that. Yes, in other words it's more resistance. Higher the resistance the higher chances of failure 😀

@Router_ero @MizoChris not really. i think thats okay as long as the users are aware of cable routing. the adapter is clumsy and being dragged by more cables of pcie8pin so the force is just larger.

@DogieVenom @MizoChris @unikoshardware Every ATX 3.0 PSU meets ATX 3.1 requirements. Not otherwise as ATX 3.0 has stricter requirements. Example is A1000G PCIE5 which didn't quality for ATX 3.0 but was marketed by that. 😀

@MizoChris @unikoshardware Using the native 12v 2X6 that came with my ROG Thor 2. 1000w. atx3.0. (Not 3.1 like the Thor 3.) 6 months so far so good. All stock, no upscaling, no OCs. (Nitro 9070XT.)

@unikoshardware @MizoChris Indeed the 12v-2x6 connector on 12v-2x6 is in a very bad place. On top of heatsinks also. The bending is usually for up and down, not for sideways. Very badly designed card.

@Router_ero @MizoChris two different scenarios the sapphire one has to bend the cable sideways. so it is important to follow the 35mm straight rule suggested by pci sig

@unikoshardware Does it matter If he had ATX 3.0/3.1 PSU ? I think reason is here. I have 800w ATX 3.1 PSU and 12V-2x6 cable is rated at 450w.

@unikoshardware @MizoChris Hi there, Router ero from the SPL PSU Tier List The problem tends to be with Sapphire own "squid" adapter. Although MSI "squid" adapter takes the lead here currently with failures.

@MizoChris i would like to know that too. iirc from what i have seen so far all the sapphire cases involed the sapphire 16pin adapter.

@totallyAcRo @kitgurupress @bequietofficial Thank you! We tiered PP13M 1000W B+ due it uses 85C bulk caps which is a very interesting choice. We have a website also for now :)

@totallyAcRo @kitgurupress @bequietofficial Hi there, Router ero from the SPL PSU Tier List The 1200w model was launched 2026 feb, 1000w and below were launched in march 2025. The 1200w is double-sourced between FSP and HEC FSP in US HEC in EU

@kitgurupress @bequietofficial Power Zone 2 released in Germany about a year ago. Didn't know be quiet! releases stuff so much later in other parts of the world.
