Today, we launch a new campaign for Fourpaws South Africa, the first NPO we ever worked with when we started our Fundraising division at @RovertMarketing, twelve years ago. I'm calling this one, "back to the basics," as a reminder of how we built pretty much everything we have now on this foundation. Grateful.

With @EzytrackZambia, cost capture you will never be fooled by any brand, big or small Knowing the real cost per kilometre with different tire brands can provide several benefits to a fleet manager. Here are some of the key benefits: Cost Optimization: Understanding the real cost per kilometre associated with different tire brands allows fleet managers to make informed decisions when it comes to tire selection. By comparing the cost per kilometre of various tire brands, managers can identify options that offer better value for money in terms of durability, fuel efficiency, and overall performance. This enables them to optimize costs and choose tires that provide the best balance between quality and price. Performance Assessment: Analyzing the cost per kilometre of different tire brands can also help fleet managers assess the performance of their current tires. By comparing the costs associated with tire maintenance, replacements, and fuel consumption, managers can identify patterns and trends that may indicate the need for adjustments or improvements. This data-driven approach allows for proactive measures to be taken, such as addressing recurring issues or exploring alternatives that offer better performance and cost-efficiency Budget Planning: Accurate knowledge of the cost per kilometre with different tire brands enables fleet managers to develop more precise budget plans. By considering the ongoing expenses related to tire maintenance, replacements, and overall longevity, managers can allocate resources more effectively and anticipate future costs. This helps in creating realistic budgets that align with the specific requirements and objectives of the fleet. Supplier Negotiations: Armed with information on the real cost per kilometre, fleet managers can engage in more productive discussions with tire suppliers. They can leverage this data during negotiations to seek competitive pricing, discounts, or favourable terms that align with their budgetary goals. This empowers managers to make well-informed decisions regarding tire sourcing and establish beneficial partnerships with suppliers. Performance Benchmarking: Comparing the cost per kilometre among different tire brands can serve as a benchmarking tool for fleet managers. They can assess how their current tire selection performs in terms of cost-efficiency compared to industry standards or similar fleets. This analysis can highlight areas for improvement and drive continuous enhancement of tire management strategies. Knowing the real cost per kilometre with different tire brands provides fleet managers with valuable insights for cost optimization, performance assessment, budget planning, supplier negotiations, and performance benchmarking. It allows for informed decision-making and proactive measures to enhance operational efficiency and maximize the return on investment for the fleet.

This is something I am interested in being a part of in Zambia. Since 2014, I have been heavily committed to this cause in South Africa, together with @FOURPAWSSA. This is infact, @RovertMarketing's biggest fundraising campaign to date.

We need to emphasise the importance of protecting lion populations in Zambia. With the help of the research conducted by Dr. Paula White and her team, we have learned that lions in Zambia face numerous threats that endanger their survival. These threats include illegal hunting, poaching, habitat loss, and human-wildlife conflict. Dr. White's research has highlighted the urgent need to protect lion habitat and to promote coexistence between lions and local communities. We must take proactive measures to address human-lion conflict by implementing measures such as building predator-proof fences around livestock enclosures, using guard dogs, and promoting education and awareness on sustainable land use practices. Moreover, we must address the illegal hunting and poaching of lions by strengthening enforcement and promoting sustainable hunting practices. This can include working with local communities to promote responsible hunting practices, such as reducing the use of wire snares and shotguns, and promoting the conservation of lions and other wildlife species. Ultimately, the protection of lion populations in Zambia is not just about preserving one species, but about protecting entire ecosystems and promoting the sustainability of human and wildlife populations. Lions are apex predators and play a crucial role in the balance of ecosystems, and their loss could have devastating consequences for both wildlife and human communities. Therefore, we must continue to support efforts to protect lion populations in Zambia, and around the world, by implementing effective conservation strategies, promoting responsible land use practices, and working with local communities to promote sustainable coexistence between humans and wildlife.
