@DPDgroup_news Paid to ‘VIP’ a parcel this week to arrive at a certain time slot. It wasn’t delivered on that day so I need to know how to claim a refund please. The only link I could find online required an account, which I neither have or want to set up. How to proceed?

@AmericanAir My delayed bag wasn’t delivered when promised and I have no information on when it may arrive. I’m leaving my current hotel in a few days and I can’t find any way of telling you where I’ll be after that. I need to speak to a human being asap.

@virginmedia I realise that you, the genuinely helpful person answering messages on Twitter, didn’t design these systems so it’s not on you personally at all, but VM customer service has been consistently the worst!

@virginmedia The link you sent me to fix my internet doesn’t work because… my internet isn’t working. It keeps telling me my router isn’t connected, which I am aware of. Is there a human I can speak to?

@virginmedia They would have then asked my postcode presumably and would have let me know about the fault. It shouldn’t take me getting on Twitter to find this stuff out. People are busy and your help service should be designed to help people, not to make them jump through hoops to get help.

@virginmedia At the time when we started having the issue it said there was no known issue in my are, but now it’s saying there is a known issue. I’m not sure when that known issue was discovered by VM, but all these messages could have been avoided if I had been able to speak to someone!

@virginmedia The link didn’t work if I followed it while connected to Wi-fi so had to follow it using my phone. It turns out it was the link to test my equipment, which it did and said it wasn’t connected properly and that was it, if I clicked forward it just did the test again.

@virginmedia Yes. Calling that number was my first step before taking to Twitter to try and get help. I was told I would be sent a message with a link to follow for more help. Which is the link that I mentioned in my first tweet to you. Is there really nobody who can call me to sort this out?

@Rowan68 Thanks for the details Rowan. Can you perform a pinhole reset on your hub for me please virginmedia.com/help/virgin-me…? This will restore your Hub to factory settings but it can also clear up issues with intermittent internet. Please let me know how you get on after. ^SC

@virginmedia Between your slow broadband service, your website sending me in circles and then it signing me out constantly it’s more efficient to just message you here. Last two weeks have seen our bb speed just crawling along. Have run test, no issues apparently. Please advise.

Just been hung up on by @HMRCcustomers helpline when asking for clarification on how to proceed now my SEISS appeal has been denied. Was told there were no plans in place to support those who have fallen through the cracks of the scheme. Speechless. @BBCNews @Channel4News

@thomann Received a pair of mics from you on Wednesday, one of which is faulty. Emailed support with a link to a video of the issue, which hasn’t been downloaded. I chased it up on Friday and have heard nothing back. Really bad customer service.

@MartinSLewis @itvMLshow No appeals process for SEISS amounts even though many have been denied grants through no fault of their own. Helpline, web chat, webinars all genuinely useless. Why are the government not listening to those in desperate need? What do they expect us to do?
