Congratulations to Rowan Counsell from Whitefish Bay on winning the D2 State Championship. On her death bed with the flu on Wednesday and gutted it out to still make a huge impact in both state games. One tough kid & changes game on both sides of the floor. @RowanCounsell

Game 4: In the most exciting game of the day so far, Whitefish Bay & Appleton East played within 2 possessions of each other for the entire game with multiple lead changes. The key stretch came when WB used an 8-2 run to flip a 1-pt deficit into a 48-43 lead late in the 2nd half. WB wins 50-45. Soph Rowan Counsell showcased her scoring versatility along with her ability to put pressure on opposing offenses with her hustle & scrappiness & opposing defenses with her aggressiveness & decision-making at high speed; she finished with a game-high 20 for WB. 6' sr University of Minnesota-Duluth signee Torie Neubauer scored around the basket off the drive, break, & cut as well as displaying her consistent mid-range game, hitting the boards, & getting into passing lanes for AE to amass 18 points, 14 rebounds, 6 steals, & 3 blocks.
