Another issue to add to the discussion, prizes below the PT level are quite terrible, winning an RCQ just means you win the opportunity to spend hundreds of €/$ on traveling to a tournament where maybe you can start to break even if you have a 70+% winrate

Pro Tour prizing is increasingly lagging behind the cost to attend. Ken is spending $2400 for flight and hotel. He's have to finish in the Top 28 to cover that (based on the prize structure for Las Vegas). #mtg

@patxisanchez Yepp, I would play only 6 round 64 player RCQs in London and it felt great to win one, I go to the event and its just 1000 italians who played ten 8 player two slotters

Competitive system in Mtg looked good in theory, but it's losing its appeal
There are so many RCQs that they've lost value, and the RC no longer feels exclusive
It's a GP every few months, not a special event.
Simple fix: limit RCQs to one per store. Make qualifying matters again
