@ifiona1036 @BBCWorld Every NHS usage (Dr visit/surgery/etc) carries a charge - a very small percentage of the cost, but significant to the system when added up.
Moreover, NHS funding covers treatment only (no free food/drinks) - making the medical/running costs budgets greater.
It works well 👍

Do you remember when it was quite normal for children to go home from school for their lunch? (Some teachers would go home too!) A short walk or bike ride, lunch with a parent or two and maybe even a bit of TV before the afternoon session. I think the respite was very healthy.

Glutenfree dairyfree snowball cookies - rolled in sugar at the front (and still nude behind).
I loved making these and they are delicious but the instructions are right, don’t make them too big!! (My nude ones are 😞)
