Something about a quart fitting into a pint pot! Everything finished on our last day and it's only 2.30😀 The principal at the high school would like us to buy them a bus- shrewd investment- anyone got spare £40,000? Really fruitful visit.

Annual distribution of Mooncup sanitary protection to Form 1 amidst much giggling and embarrassment. They work though and give girls an even playing field with boys otherwise they give up.

What a packed day. Visited Kadie Primary. In a parlous state. Planning to help improvement starting with porridge for youngest pupils. They have so little, it's heartbreaking.

Great morning in Primary. Sue brought this parachute game.Teaching rounders tomorrow. It's a games exam subject and there was no equipment. Wow! It's hot. School numbers have hugely increased - victims of our own success.

Hard going today. Very.hot. Still sorting all our goodies. Went to lay a wreath on the grave of the first teacher in the High school - buried last week. He was already retired 20 years ago. We had no government teachers for two years. Both schools tomorrow.

Safely here in beautiful sunshine belying desperate need for rain. Somewhat eventful journey. Informed we had to pay tax on donations. Lengthy discussion and much grovelling with officials and blind eye turned, this time. Solar power packed up last night! Unpacking and sorting.

Such a good visit but too short. If you'd like our report email angelarowley@ntlworld.com. Great to hear about our graduates becoming teachers, accountants, health practitioners, nurses, electricians, technicians...

Busy day in school distributing pens & knickers. Spent all afternoon with builders discussing snagging and who should pay for it! That shouldn't even be a question!! Beautiful sunset.

"Good trip. Straight through customs. Lady from Kisumu and knew our school." Rats eaten our bedding again and bats in the roof but hey ho. Hot. Thunderstorm yesterday. Watch this space."

'Productive day despite heat. 40 min drive to Oyugis Market. Visited two dentist/dispensaries, took all Form 1 sponsored students' photos, discussed costs with builder. Stifling hot still. Awaiting nightly canine chorus!'

Busy last day. Dispensary thriving despite government not providing gloves for over 2 years. We took 800 pairs. Made sure we greeted every class in both schools. Had visitors & did some visiting late afternoon. Now packing.

What a great day. I'd brought a Christmas cake to celebrate Ayugi's b'day. Both schools handed out 400+ pens, 300+prs of knickers. Exhausting. Form 1 'girlie'/mooncups talk a lot of fun! Last day tomorrow & loads to do.

Brilliant day. High School flourishing. IT suite not finished but will be great. Games shirts well-received. Primary gave us presentations about Covid & overbearing parents! Need a lie down!

Canine choir practice at 10.30 last night. Who can howl loudest?! Long service at church - not Steve!! Visited Charles & family then Rammy's chicken business. 70+ ladies given 16 paracetamol and baby knitteds. So much need we can't begin to address but folk are so resilient.
