The Rays are playing basically the same lineup as yesterday and the Pirates have a completely different lineup that looks considerably worse and the excuse will be because of last nights elongated game. I don’t like how this organization trots out different lineups every day. No other team does this and it’s very frustrating to see.
You've got to be kidding me, in a must win game Kelly is rolling out the most Sunday lineup ever. Gonzales, Bart, Cook and Yorke practically automatic outs. O'Hearn sits? Why? Off Day tomorrow only didn't play full game yesterday and hits lefties well. Unbelievable.
I get the bullpen has been taxed, but not using Soto today and putting Lawrence in the 8th just doesn’t make sense. Also doesn’t help pulling starters sub 80 pitches. It’s early, but that seems hyper-conservative. Kelly’s management of the staff is beginning to concern me a bit
