Last year Britain lost a THIRD of its refineries. Why? A Carbon Tax on industry that Ed Miliband doubled. We won’t need any less petrol, diesel, jet fuel, ceramics or chemicals - we'll just rely more on foreign imports. We must axe the Carbon Tax and save British industry.

Reports now that Hegseth oversold the war to Trump and underestimated Iran's willingness to fight back.
It's almost as if he's unqualified for his job. Too bad the Senate didn't have confirmation hearings; those would have proven his manifest unsuitability to lead the Pentagon.

No one has ‘paid into’ the state pension. NI payments are spent by the government of the day, not put into a pot with your name on. Using these terms just perpetuates the myth that the state pension is a contributory scheme. It isn’t. It’s a non-means tested universal benefit paid for by current taxpayers.
