I played poker against Ralph Klein on a Sunday night at the casino in Edmonton in early 2004. I was scheduled to be an expert witness at a trial the next day, so I had driven to town that afternoon. Poker was all the rage in those days, so I wandered over to the only casino that had a poker room at that time. I was an hour into the game, when all of a sudden, Ralph sits down next to me. I remember him taking out 100s from his wallet, and me joking that "that better be your money ". I also remember one hand in particular that I folded. I had a straight, but he looked like he had a full house. He bluffed me, and when he was collecting his chips, he proudly said "You folded a straight ".
