My Dad passed away suddenly this morning. His heart had been given little time in the fall of 2022 and that we got two extra years is something for which I am grateful. But all of the mental preparation for this moment does not truly prepare you. 💔 Love you, Dad.

This morning I tweeted about a book that I'd borrowed from the library. The author responded. He works for the NYT so this tracks with their whole vibe. Despite enjoying it I'm not going to finish it. Because as a writer myself, I say without hesitation libraries rule.
