Truth off my chest: I’ve been scared to post. Idk why, but I’ve suffered severe anxiety/ptsd since my accident/recovery and past. I have been here but not myself. I made promises that I couldn’t make because of it. I’m so tired of hiding in a shell of my things in the past (cont)

@RoxyRayeXXX 100% true! It’s so healthy to reach out to your friends and family that you have a good relationship with; and not fear judgement. One of the wisest comments I have heard is “The opposite of addiction is connection”.

@yozyozyoz_ I think a good support system helps too, which I have. It’s such a weird thing though. You can get into some terrible habits and addictions while isolating. I think for a lot of people therapy is key.

@RoxyRayeXXX I got sick and couldn’t work for a few years and suffered extreme anxiety throughout. It can feel unbearable. But focussing on gradually getting healthier: regular exercise, sleeping enough and eating healthily gradually got me out. There’s light at the end of the tunnel. 🌞💛

It’s a fucked up thing and invisible to other eyes but so real for someone suffering. I think speaking about it will help me get past this. Much love ❤️

@RoxyRayeXXX You can do it Roxy! Speaking personally anxiety is cruel and twisted, but we do have the power to best it! Just take things at your own comfortable pace and enjoy what you do however you can ❤️
